The final scenes of Episode INTERmission show Yuffie leaving Midgar on a Chocobo, before switching to some new scenes of Cloud and the party. To keep a level head, focus on Cloud completely through out the match, and if you keep consistent timing throughout, you'll be able to beat Jules and win the Sultan of Squat trophy. Final Fantasy 7 Remake and The Road Ahead. As your opponent will generally move faster, Cloud's score may be exceeded during the match, but if you let that get to you and try to speed up, you'll make a mistake and ruin your shot. Don't worry about your opponent's scoreĪlthough your opponent may sometimes overtake or tie with you, mental stability is key for completing the Pro Difficulty. And if you press the button a seventh time after you've already broken free of the fatigue, your chances of making a mistake will increase. The battle system is satisfactory but there are long periods in the game with nothing even. If your inputs are too slow, it might require a seventh input, which will waste precious time. The mini game interruptions are terrible, the 'puzzles' are just going through the motions, the story drags because they clearly attempted to stretch 8 hrs of gameplay into 35. At this point, be sure to press the indicated button exactly 6 times quickly. With some shonky maths and a faded memory of the rest of the game I'd say the original is about a thirty hour playthrough if you do the minigames once or twice and don't spend too much time lost in the overworld. When Cloud gets fatigued, the button indications will appear again, and stop on a specific button. For reference, you use disc one twice, in total it's about eight hours long in the original. ![]() Read on to find out the rewards for these side quests and how to receive them. It will be very hard to recover after making even making one mistake, so you'll have to aim for a flawless victory. According to my play log, I completed 20 of 26 sidequests, or oddjobs as they're called.The most important thing to win the Pro Difficulty is to completely avoid mistakes. Still, I plan to go back for them later! Mitchell Saltzman, Editorial ProducerMy first playthrough of Final Fantasy 7 Remake ran me about 38 hours, and while it certainly wasn't a completionist run in terms of hitting all of the sidequests, I definitely wouldn't say that I beelined it to the finish. ![]() I did some of these tasks, but completing them just wasn’t as interesting to me as continuing the story. That said, I didn’t spend as much time with the optional mini-game activities – things like doing extra squats at the Wall Market gym, trying to get the top score in the darts mini-game, or going through every level of its arena fights. I generally hunt for lots of secrets while playing RPGs, so I checked every corner for chests and items, did nearly every optional side quest available, and upgraded all my weapons manually.
